This post containts disturbing imagery.
You put your tie on,
Fix your hair up,
Crib about a job that sucks,
And you head out for work.
With a grocery list in your pocket,
Dreams weighed down by responsibilities,
You mask your sorrow with a smile,
And you get on with your day.
Monotony is draining you,
But you know it’s all worth it,
You do it for your family,
As you secretly hope for a change.
And suddenly your wish come true,
Your life changes forever,
But not the way you wanted it to,
You are greeted by horror.
A hot blob of fire straight to your face,
You have no time to react,
Just a chilling shriek escapes,
As the flames eat you up.
Oh, how horrific is that?
I wish them upon none.
But it’s a reality for many,
So many innocent lives lost.

While this incident took place 5 years ago, scars like this take a lot more time to heal. It’s something that changes a person’s life once and for all.

True..
Thank you for this blog. And, being passionate about the subject. I think if more attention was focused on the realities of life perhaps more of us would take better care of ourselves and others.
True… We take so many things for granted. We hardly ever realise what we have until we lose it. 🤗🤗
