Her

You tell me that you love me,
But it’s when you look at her,
You eyes glistens beautifully.

It’s my hands that you hold,
And I can feel your grip tighten,
Every time she passes us.

I’m on your phone’s wallpaper,
But it’s her photo that stays hidden,
In a quiet corner of your purse.

And when you place your lips on mine,
I can almost feel it,
It’s her you’re searching for.

You like stargazing with me,
But when you see a shooting star,
It’s her that you wish for.

You promise a forever with me,
As you hold her in your heart,
Like a prize you can never posses.

So, darling, do me a favor,
Chase the girl of you’re pining for,
Leave me alone, let me go.

I just wonder if you pictured that man’s actual love a dead girl or alive…otherwise why is he holding on to her…I want to you extend this story and make part 2 of it…hahaah…what say shreya…???Lots of love right back at you dear:)

This is wonderfully penned. I am reminded of the old country western song that goes something like…”the hardest thing i’ll ever have to do, is holding her, and loving you.” Thank you again for your excellence.
